I've always wanted to write reviews. I think there's a part of everyone that wants to dole out opinions in spite of there being ears to hear. As an American consumer, I have a right to proclaim my opinion and businesses have the duty to listen (or suffer profit loss if enough people feel the same way).
Demographics: I'm 26, a budding electrical engineer and a father and husband. I'm active in my religion and family. I love technology and enjoy movies on occasion. I believe in the green movement, but not that humans are the cause of global warming. According to the Political Compass I'm a slightly-libertarian centrist.
Rules
1. Items/services reviewed must have a financial cost to them. If they were free, you could try it yourself and save me time from telling you.
2. The rating scale is 5 stars. 1/2 star is the lowest anything can achieve. (Because zero stars is for everything I haven't reviewed yet). 5 stars is for something that excels in all aspects of intended product value.
3. Anything I spend cold hard cash on is candidate for review. Mundane things like gas, groceries, bills, etc. will be omitted unless I feel like ranting on a particular aspect of these.
4. Items and prices will be judged for fairness and/or greed based on under a $50k/yr income.
5. This blog is not retroactive. In other words, items will only be reviewed if purchased after the initial publish date (3-21-2008). References to goods and services bought before publish date made be made for comparison.
